GiggleFest runs regular comedy shows across Exeter at two main venues:
Home of Exeter City FC, this is where we host our high-energy Kick Off comedy nights.
Full address and entry details will always be shown on each individual event page.
Our late-night, underground-style comedy night held at The Bootlegger.
All venue details, accessibility info, and timings are listed on the show’s page.
You’ll always find the exact location, start times, and travel information on the event page for the show you are booking.
You can book tickets directly through our website. Just pick your show, grab your seats, and get ready to giggle. (Pro tip: book early – we sell out fast!)
Yes — absolutely! Comedy is always better with a pint in hand.
Our venues serve a full range of drinks, including beers, ciders, spirits, soft drinks, and more.
We also offer light snacks to keep you going during the show.
Availability can vary slightly depending on the venue (St James Park or The Bootlegger), but you’ll always be able to grab a drink and enjoy the night properly.
We recommend arriving when the doors open.
This gives you plenty of time to grab a drink, settle in, and find the best seats before the show starts.
Arriving at door time also means you won’t be walking in late or interrupting the first act — you can relax and enjoy the night from the very start.
Yes! We run open mic and new material nights and are always looking for new comedians to jump on.
The best way to get booked is to message us on Instagram (@gigglefestcomedyy).
We receive a lot of enquiries, so if you don’t hear back straight away, don’t be shy —
send a follow-up message so your name stays at the top of the inbox.
We do read everything, and we will always get back to you when we can.
Yes — you can buy tickets on the door, as long as the show isn’t sold out.
Please note that on-the-door ticket prices may be slightly higher.
A member of our team will be on the doors to help you purchase tickets and get you seated.
However, because GiggleFest shows often fill up fast, we strongly recommend booking online in advance to guarantee your spot.
We ask that you don’t record videos during the show, as many comedians are testing new material.
However, you’re welcome to take photos before or after the show.
If you post them and tag us on Instagram (@gigglefestcomedyy), you might even get picked for free tickets to one of our upcoming events.
Most GiggleFest shows are 16+.
Please be aware that our events include adult humour and are held in venues where alcohol is served.
If you're 18 or over and plan to buy alcohol, you’ll need to bring valid ID — the bar operates a strict Challenge 25 policy.
For younger audience members (16–17), we recommend attending with an adult or guardian.
Yes — absolutely! If you’re booking for a big group, everyone is welcome.
For groups who want to sit together, we strongly recommend:
Booking early (our shows often sell out)
Arriving when the doors open so you can choose seats next to each other
If you arrive later, seats may be limited and your group could end up split across the room.
Most GiggleFest shows run for around 1 hour 45 minutes – 2 hours, including short breaks.
Each event page will list the start time, and we always finish in good time for trains, taxis, and after-show drinks.
